What "verified" means for Googlebot
For Googlebot, "verified" means DataSaaS compares the request IP against Google's published ranges. A request carrying this user agent from any other IP is recorded as unverified.
Track it
Googlebot renders JavaScript, so the DataSaaS browser tag captures it automatically through the events beacon. No extra setup is required.
